Do you press the space bar on your keyboard with either of your thumbs, or one specifically? Because I use my right, almost exclusively and my space bar is wearing out on the right side.

that was my other half trying out our theory. he too thought he was both a lefty and righty, but turns out to be an exclusive righty. he also thought your name wasn't 'karen' but 'cameron'. sorry.

i'm definitely a right-handed spacer. also, i can tell this from the slight impression on the right side of my space bar. i actually made an effort to use my left thumb for spacing, but it didn't last long!

I think I'm a bigger freak than you guys, I only use my right index finger! WHY WON'T MY THUMBS WORK? D:
Haha, I don't know what I do actually... well, I always use my index finger on the space, but I think I press it sort of in the middle.
my spacebar is all shiny where i press it with my right thumb. and i totally just did two spaces when i tried to switch.

I think I takes turns, sometime using both thumbs, but mainly the right thumb or index finger.
I always thought I used both sides evenly...but I noticed I use the right side more, I can tell where the color's kinda rubbing off
10.5 of the keys on my keyboard at work have the letters rubbed off them.
It doesn't bother me.
But it's hilarious when other people try to use my computer.
I hope IT doesn't ever get ambitious or thoughtful and try to get me a new one.
Also: I definitely have a spot rubbed down on my spacebar which means my right thumb must do the majority of the spacing.
And now that I'm watching myself, it does all of it.
Poor useless left thumb.
